Still “hungover” with music from WMC Miami, I sprinkled some new gems in this week’s shows along with a few anthems that seem to be infectious at my gigs lately. Dixon’s edit of “Dance Dance Dance” by Lykke Li is a dancefloor fave, especially among the ladies! R.Kelly’s “Be My #2″ was another joint I heard in Miami (Terry Hunter’s mix) and my man Stacy Kidd rocks a nice new mix for “all you hatin m*thaf*ckas!” LOL. Other numbers I hope you dig are my edit of Penner’s “Presence of Another Man”, “I Love It” by Joe Dipadova, Andy Compton and Diviniti’s “Where I Want to Be” and a host others. And last but certainly not least, I end the show with “Loungin” by Donald Byrd and a man who sadly left us this week but whose hip-hop legacy will live on.

DIVE has been a staple figure in the house music community in San Diego, bringing our brand of soulful and deep house vibes to the masses for 6 years running! We’re grateful to still be doing our thing despite the murky environment of recent economic turmoil to have hit the industry. Our mission is rooted in something simple yet powerful: passion in the music or as many have put it, “for the love…” This Saturday, we celebrate that passion with our friends and hope to meet new ones in the process. WMC Recovery Mode

Last week in Miami for 2010′s edition of WMC was one for the books! With 6 gigs along with a few memorable events hosted by friends, WMC 2010 turned out to be all that and then some. From the craziness under the Florida stars at Segafredo to an unbelievable rooftop party at the Clevelander for “gotsoul sunrise sessions”, I was reminded of why I do what I do – for tha love and sharing it for those share the same passion!
